Team building without the cringe

Office party games and team building on one shared screen

Fifteen minutes, one screen and everyone's phone. Party Bo gets a team laughing together, whether people are in the meeting room, at home or a bit of both.

  • 15 minute sessions
  • Hybrid and remote
  • Safe for work

Why it works at work

  • No installs, no IT tickets: players join in their phone browser with a room code. Nobody creates an account or hands over an email address.
  • Short sessions: each game takes 3 to 15 minutes, and a Quick Party Mix fits in about 15 minutes, perfect for the end of a team meeting.
  • Safe for work: all content is family friendly, nicknames are filtered and the host can remove players. Most Likely To prompts never touch looks, money, relationships or drinking.
  • Everyone plays at once: answers and votes happen at the same time, so a group of 10 plays as quickly as a group of three.

Hybrid and remote teams

Phones do not need to be in the same room as the screen. Anyone can open partybo.com/join and type the room code from anywhere with an internet connection. For a hybrid or fully remote session:

  1. The organiser opens partybo.com/tv in a browser tab and starts a party.
  2. Share that tab on your video call, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet, with computer sound switched on so everyone hears the timers.
  3. Post the room code in the chat. Remote players join on their phones, and people in the meeting room scan the QR code.
  4. Play. The video call becomes your games room.

Screen sharing adds a small delay, so remote players may see a question a moment after the meeting room does. For mixed teams, games that do not reward speed work best: Majority Rules, Most Likely To, Bluff Battle and Word Rescue. Who's the Spy? is brilliant when cameras and microphones are on.

Icebreakers for new teams

Majority Rules is the gentlest start: a silly would you rather question, a secret vote and a reveal that gets people talking. Its casual mode drops the scores entirely. Most Likely To suits teams who already know each other a little, and its prompts are kind by design. Five minutes of either warms up a meeting better than a round of introductions.

A 15 minute session plan

  1. Minutes 0 to 2: open the game screen and let everyone join.
  2. Minutes 2 to 6: a round of Majority Rules as a warm up.
  3. Minutes 6 to 13: Quiz Rush for an in room crowd, or Bluff Battle for remote teams.
  4. Minutes 13 to 15: the final leaderboard and a champion to congratulate.

Or pick a Quick Party Mix and let Party Bo run the whole thing for you.

End of year parties and offsites

At a holiday party or offsite, put Party Bo on the big projector and turn the sound up. Each room holds up to 10 players. For a bigger crowd, let small teams share a phone with a team name, or run a separate room on each screen.
